Are your pieces dishwasher safe?
Yes. However I recommend washing by hand as your items are fragile and could easily get chipped in the dishwasher.
Are your pieces food safe?
Yes. Em Creates items have been made from high-fired stoneware using only food safe materials.
How do I look after my item?
All ceramics are fragile by nature so need to be handled with care.
Ceramics are sensitive to thermal shock so please avoid heating or cooling your ceramics too quickly, eg, pouring hot water in a mug washed in cold water.
When will my item(s) be shipped?
Your item will be packed up ready to send within 3-4 days of placing your order. I use Sendle Standard delivery to deliver all items.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes I can provide express shipping for an extra fee. Send me an email at [email protected] before placing your order and I'll arrange an express shipping quote for you.
I live in Melbourne, can I collect my item(s) from you?
Yes! Simply select the pickup option at checkout and you won't be charged shipping. I'll then contact you to arrange collection from Bentleigh East, 3165.
Is your packaging recyclable?
I use recycled packaging whenever possible. The packing peanuts are biodegradable and can be added to your compost or dissolved in water.
What is your returns policy?
We do not accept returns for change of mind or ceramics damaged after use. Once your item is unwrapped and in use, we are not responsible for any cracks that may appear.
We do accept returns on items that have been damaged during shipping. If your item arrives to you damaged please contact us within 48 hours with photographs of the damage and the outer box (we need these to claim delivery insurance). If we can replace it with something you are happy with, we will. Otherwise we will refund your purchase and postage in full.
Please note that each piece is handmade which can mean unique variations in glaze melt, sizing, and colour. This is part of the beauty of handmade and the surprise of opening every new kiln load.
